Legal notice
In short
- The Mariscal is run by Martín Silva Molina, an independent developer based in Zagreb, in a personal capacity: it isn't a company yet. That takes no rights away from anyone: you have all of them, just as you would with any business.
- For anything legal: hey@themariscal.com. For everything else: the contact form.
- The software, courses, guides, book, skills, texts, images and 3D models belong to us or to their authors: you can use them as the terms say, but not copy or resell them.
This summary helps you find your way; it doesn't replace the full text.

2. How to get in touch
- By email: hey@themariscal.com. A person replies.
- By post: to the address above.
- Using the form: contact.themariscal.com.
We deal with you in Spanish, English and Croatian. We usually reply to messages within 48 working hours, and to written complaints within 15 days at the latest (see Withdrawal and complaints).
3. Digital Services Act points of contact
Under arts. 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the DSA), the single point of contact for the authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, and also for users, is hey@themariscal.com. Languages: Croatian and English (Spanish too). To report illegal content, use the form in the Community guidelines.
4. Supervisory authorities
The Mariscal's activity doesn't need prior administrative authorisation or membership of a professional body. The authorities that supervise it are:
- Consumer protection: Državni inspektorat Republike Hrvatske, Šubićeva 29, 10000 Zagreb, Hrvatska (dirh.gov.hr).
- Data protection: Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, Hrvatska, azop@azop.hr (azop.hr).
- Digital services (DSA): Hrvatska regulatorna agencija za mrežne djelatnosti (HAKOM), Ulica Roberta Frangeša Mihanovića 9, 10110 Zagreb, Hrvatska (www.hakom.hr).
Alternative dispute resolution: The Mariscal isn't signed up to any consumer alternative dispute resolution body. If you suggest mediation before a body recognised in Croatia, we'll consider it in good faith (see Withdrawal and complaints). The EU online dispute resolution (ODR) platform closed on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228), which is why we don't link to it.
5. Intellectual property
The The Mariscal brand, the crest, the code and design of the sites, the courses, lessons, videos, guides, the book, the skills, texts, illustrations, 3D models and other published works belong to the owner or their authors, or are used under licence, and are protected by the Zakon o autorskom pravu i srodnim pravima (Croatian Copyright and Related Rights Act) and European and international law.
You can view and use them as the Terms and conditions say. Unless a licence says otherwise, they may not be copied, downloaded, recorded, redistributed, sold or used to train artificial intelligence systems without written permission. Whatever is delivered to a client in a project is governed by the Terms of service.
The demos (the sample shops, the 3D configurators, the publishing house, the cube and the rest) use our own models and texts or third-party ones under a free licence (for example CC0 or public domain), credited wherever the licence requires it. Third-party trade marks that appear in the demos or in client case studies belong to their owners and are mentioned only to identify them.
Text and data mining opt-out: under art. 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790, the owner expressly reserves the use of The Mariscal's content for text and data mining, including training artificial intelligence models. What we publish for AI to read (the llms.txt files) is there to be quoted and linked to, not to be trained on.
6. Links and third-party content
The sites link to third-party pages (clients, media, YouTube, social networks, repositories). We don't control their content or their policies. If you find a link that leads to something illegal, let us know and we'll take it down.
7. The other documents
- Terms and conditions: the contract for using the sites and buying courses, books, guides and skills.
- Terms of service: how we work when you hire us to build a website, an app or an agent.
